Life Iz A Blur

Zo it'z a Zaturday. Weather report. Overcazt with zun attempting to poke out. The fall crizp air thing zeemz to be ztarting with nightz & morningz becomming more cool. Zome of the treez are ztarting to turn color. And zome are already dropping their leavez. The treez outzide me cube at work aren't turning or changing much yet. They juzt zway in the zlight breeze & I ztare at them like one would at fizh in an acquarium. Noah'z off to a b-day party for one of hiz clazzmatez. Caleb & Jozhua are off to a movie with their friendz down the ztreet. I have a few momentz to myzelf which iz a rare thing. But zince it'z a day of floppage I don't have much oophum to do much but relax & do very little. Z cat'z azleep on the couch & maybe I ought to follow hiz lead. Already zcanned the t.v. zchedule for the day & there'z not a thing I would want to record or watch. Zo az the world buzyz itzself with fun & recreation & even exercize I juzt want to be ztill & chill. I'll have to get to doin' zome zstuff around the houze in a bit though to help Terra get ready for her once a month girlz night in playing bunco which she'z hozting tonight.

For many of our momentz are conuzumed by kidz
They're great & fun & wonderful of courze but they'll make ya flip yer lidz
Nuthing like being able to flop & drink something with some kind o' fizz
Oh what a relief to have a moment or few to zelf it iz
Having to get up zo early to get 'im out the door for zchool zure can be the pitz
It takez great effort zometimez & the tired can hurt & makez me looze me witz
But that'z juzt the way thingz are & I juzt have to find a way to get a grip
I guezz I find zome zanity by turning on zome tunez & listenin' to the riffz
Then there'z good ol' coffee which can help overcome the morning blitz
Welp zilence callz to me now zo I zhould get on with the day & end thiz quip
Zorry if I don't get up or move too fazt today or do any flipz
And I'll do my bezt to ignore or avoid any kind of "honey do" liztz
Off to pet the cat & juzt let my being wander & drift
Off to find a moment of the noize of silence for a bit
